The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre in Grande Prairie, AB delivers comprehensive programs specifically designed to support Indigenous peoples navigating urban life and community integration. Since its founding in 1965, the organization has established itself as a cornerstone of cultural bridge-building and community support services across multiple locations throughout Grande Prairie. The Centre operates from three strategic locations—the Westside, Downtown, and On-Campus facilities—each providing specialized programming tailored to different community needs. Services include the Aboriginal Head Start program, Babies' Best Start initiative, and the Kiwewin Housing Support program, all designed to address the unique barriers Indigenous community members face in urban settings. The Kikinaw Outreach Program provides additional support and connection services.
