Turning Points Magazine at ASU is a premier student-led publication serving the Indigenous student community at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. This innovative college magazine was created specifically to address the unique needs and experiences of Native American students navigating higher education. Founded on the collaborative insights of over 1,100 Indigenous students who shared common experiences of isolation and resource navigation challenges, Turning Points has evolved into a comprehensive guide that combines practical campus information with authentic student narratives.

Published once per academic year, Turning Points Magazine delivers 28 pages of content written by and for Native college students, featuring student success stories, campus resources, and editorial pieces that affirm the belonging of Indigenous students within the university community. The publication reaches Arizona State University's self-identified Native students and faculty, as well as tribal leadership across the nation, making it a significant platform for Indigenous voices in higher education.

The magazine's editorial team, composed entirely of Indigenous student leaders, manages every aspect from graphic design to writing, ensuring authentic representation and reclaimed narratives about the Native American college experience. Turning Points has gained national recognition, earning multiple awards at the 2022 and 2021 National Native Media Awards, including first-place honors for feature stories, editorials, and general excellence in student journalism. The publication also produces a podcast component, extending its reach and impact beyond print media.
